International Music or Traditional Music

In the world today there are many different types of needs of music. Each person seems to have different needs for music to relax or to exercise or dance. With these reasons in mind I believe that international music is more important than the traditional music of a country.
　　First, it is necessary to define the terms international music and traditional music. International music is any kind of music that is played, performed, or heard in various parts of the world such a jazz. On the other hand, traditional music is that music which is only played in its home country.
　　The reasons I believe international music is more important than traditional music is that the former is a bridge between different cultures and people. Music which can connect people from Australia to Zaire must be powerful and influential.
　　On the other hand, traditional music does have some benefits for some people. This type of music is the only connection they have with their cultural or historical roots.
　　To sum up, while traditional music has a time and place I think international music plays the greater role in making the world a happier and more peaceful place to live.
